Element’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion began in the early ‘90s with the creation of Diversity Employee networks and a Supplier Diversity program. The supplier diversity journey initially focused on developing diverse vehicle acquisition partners as well as a process to identify and verify maintenance and accident diverse vendors.
The journey has continued as Element developed additional diverse supplier relationships in other service categories over time and will continue as Element identifies diverse suppliers capable of meeting our client’s needs.
We are proud of our Diverse Supplier Network, which includes over 4,800 service-supply businesses owned by women, BIPOC, members of LGBTQ+ communities, and veterans. We make it easy for clients and their drivers to choose these Diverse Suppliers – driving over $1.5 billion of our clients’ fleet spend in 2022.
